What do you pay for tools?
Add up the subscriptions you pay for today and compare them with the cost of your own solution. Not every tool is worth replacing.
These are the tool categories I replaced or extended with my own systems.
I still use some of them alongside my own, because they work well and only need a better connection. Your own solution is not free: API and hosting costs, updates after marketplace changes and fixing outages. So we work it out together before anything gets built.
Sometimes the best decision is to keep the ready-made tool. You will hear that from me too.
